This coming Sunday (11/1) and next Sunday (11/8), we will be worshiping via website with Pastor Gonnerman's recorded message only. A family member has tested positive for the COVID-19, and First Baptist intends to follow the requirements of the law and self-quarantine for 14 days. Please pray for the health and well-being of all our members. Amen!
Join us this Wednesday night, May 6, at 6 p.m. for our regularly-scheduled prayer meeting. Due to COVID-19, our monthly meetings were put on hold due to close proximity of worshipers. However, First Baptist Church will attempt to adhere to government guidelines by continuing to practice social distancing in order to begin anew with God!
NOTICE: Wednesday morning devotion hour/ bible study is postponed during COVID-19. A future date to resume this important meeting will be posted here.
The staff at Faith Lutheran advised us today, May 3rd, 2020, that due to COVID-19, we are not to attend to the regularly-scheduled refreshment visitation hour(s) at the facility. However, they thanked us for our support and for continued prayer. Please remember in your prayers all of our at-risk friends and neighbors, especially those who are dwellingin assisted living communities!
We are continually blessed by the deeds of God, even when facing trials and tribulation. First Baptist Church gives glory to God for the ability to continue with Sunday School in spite of the pandemic and also for the ability to record the weekly messages! This may seem trivial or insignificant in light of the many resources at our fingertips today. But with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, a need was identified and a need was met. Praise God for his perfect knowledge and his plan for ALL his people! Amen!
