valentine cake walk
It is time, once again, for our annual Valentine Cake Walk! The youth are brushing up on their scriptures and are prepared to recite for cake (or a 2-liter of pop). All are welcome to join in the fun on (Feb 13), but the same rules apply for adults--you MUST be prepared to share scripture from memory! AMEN!
annual business meeting
We conducted our Annual Business Meeting in conjunction with our first 5th Sunday potluck of the new year (Jan 30, 2022). It was a good day filled with good food, good friends, and good fellowship! We were thankful that the weather held off long enough to have a good turn-out. The annual report was distributed at the meeting and is available for the congregation in the fellowship room of the church. Praise God for his continual blessings on First Baptist!
Our Daily Bread
If you would like to receive a daily devotional, please send your name and address to the church clerk here at FBC! We will gladly send you one. Better yet, COME and join in Christian fellowship! We will begin our weekly morning bible study soon. Praise God!
Due to extreme cold this month, our Apologetics Class has been on HOLD! However, we are looking forward to meeting again every Wednesday night at 6 PM as we continue with Answers in Genesis for truth-filled documentaries and presentations that keep us informed and up-to-date on the sciences and even on secular trends, which go against God and the Bible. Can you defend your faith?
"Will anyone rob God? Yet you are robbing me! But you say, “How are we robbing you?” In your tithes and offerings!"
End-of-Year (2021) Mission projects were Voice of the Martyrs and Missionary Acres (for retired clergy and missionaries). Our January/February (2022) Mission funds will be offered to Eight Days of Hope and the Caring Pregnancy Center in Mason City. We thank God for these ministries and for the opportunity of supporting them as they carry out the will of God. Praise God for keeping them and us in his plan.
