SUNDAY SCHOOL @ 9:30 a.m. for all ages, Kindergarten - Adult. Nursery is available every Sunday morning!
WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY & PRAYER MEETING is held each Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. If God is calling you, join us as we search the scriptures for truth and call on the name of God. All are welcome! May God bless you for answering His call!
LADIES CIRCLE is a First Baptist Church tradition in which the women of the church meet together to address the current needs of the church and to share in serving Christ. We are currently delving into an important Bible Study by Dr. David Jeremiah, "The World of the End." Come and join us on the second Saturday of the month!
MONTHLY SING SERVICE
On the first Sunday of the month at 6 p.m., we meet to worship God in song. Come and make a joyful noise with us! Let us seek to glorify God with music and renew our minds with the Holy Word. Our friends at the St. Ansgar Baptist Church have joined us in this event and will host on alternating months.
5TH SUNDAY POTLUCK meal is a Baptist tradition which occurs every month that contains a fifth Sunday. It is open to the congregation and to the community!
NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER and other events or federal holidays that occur throughout the year, which we will observe, shall be posted in the bulletin and on our home page as deemed relevant and in keeping with the will of God.
Annual Events
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
The St. Ansgar Baptist Church is a God-fearing and Bible-believing church with the Regular Baptist Association that utilizes VBS material by Answers in Genesis. If you know of any children who would benefit from this wonderful opportunity, spread the word about this awesome outreach for kids!
EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE
Every Easter morning, before the regular worship hour, First Baptist Church presents a short Sunrise Service by the men, women, or youth of FBC. Then, all are invited to breakfast immediately afterwards. Our Easter Worship Service begins at 10:30 a.m. Come and be with like-minded brothers and sisters and in remembrance of the Resurrection of the Lamb of God who defeated sin for our salvation.
IRBC YOUTH CAMP
The Iowa Regular Baptist Camp for families and kids is located in nearby Ventura. The camp is a Baptist project that builds and strengthens faith in God and secures a firm foundation in Christ! First Baptist is committed to sending kids to camp.
CANDLELIGHT SERVICE
Join us on Christmas Eve as we praise God in worship with reverent hymns and joyful songs of adoration for the Christ child. Shhh! (Lights out.) Raise your candle during "Silent Night." Come and rejoice over the birth of Jesus with First Baptist Church this Dec. 24th!
